Enrol for 2025 – Lincoln Music School

Enrolment for 2025 is now open.

Fees for 2025 are set at the following:

Primary and Intermediate Students: $85 per year per instrument.
High School and Adult Students: $230 per year per instrument.

Please use the form found below on this page, and be sure to hit the red SEND button when finished. But please read the instructions below first:

IMPORTANT: Once the form below has been submitted for all applicants from a family, please ALSO send David Marshall an email notice at music@lincolnheights.school.nz, mentioning the total number of applications made. He will reply to confirm receipt. This is important because on rare occasions the web form does not complete properly, and we don’t want to miss your enrolment. There is no need to repeat the details of the application in the email message. If you do not receive an acknowledgement of your applications within three days, please let Dave know via email.

Applications submitted before January 24 will be assured timely placement in classes with open slots. However some classes may fill up well before then, so enrol soon to be assured of a slot.

Please wait until you receive an invoice from the school before paying – this is so that we can match up names and payments correctly. If you have already paid, no worries at all, just let us know.

Violin and Viola - 30 minute lessons - Teacher: Olwyn Green
Note: Beginner violin and viola students must have basic music-reading skills, for example one year of music theory, recorder or keyboard. Tutor books for each year are purchased through the music school, and must be paid for on receipt of the book. Beginners also need to purchase a folder (provided) with additional music.

Students will need to be at least 7 years old to enrol in a violin or viola class.

Note: New flute students must be at least 8 years old to enrol. All students will be assessed by tutor on the first day and assigned to an appropriate class level. Class times will depend on the results of this assessment. Acceptance is not guaranteed and will depend on enrolment numbers.

Please state below any schedule conflicts or other circumstances that the tutors need to be aware of when grouping students into classes. Note that blocking out too many class slots may make it difficult for us to schedule your student.
